Sr. Flash Game Developer, Bay Area, CA | 100-150k

This is a full time, on-site, salaried position located in San Francisco, CA paying $100,000-150,000 + benefits.  No telecommuting allowed.  US Citizens or Green Card holders only please.  Local candidates preferred; however, candidates interested in relocating considered as well.  Relocation expenses covered.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

You will be a key member of a small team developing a well-crafted, high performance Flash-based game engine and some very sweet games. You will work with an agile, collaborative team of accomplished software engineers, designers, artists and marketers on the design, development, launch and subsequent optimization of our games. If you are passionate about game and software design and would like to share a stake in a very promising business with like-minded people, this may be the job for you.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Designing & developing highly interactive, social flash games
* Applying strong software engineering skills to build games that are high-quality, high-performance, scalable and easy to evolve
* Actively participating in the game concept and design process
* Working with marketing and game design teams to propose unique game mechanics and elements and measure their overall effectiveness
* Working in an agile environment where prototypes, proofs of concept and quick iterations are a way of life
* Proactively researching and acclimating to emerging technologies and applicable changes in the gaming and design space

REQUIREMENTS:

* Solid computer science/software engineering background
* Excellent programming skills resulting in clean, high-quality, appropriately optimized code that is a pleasure to work with
* Strong experience developing highly interactive 2D, 2.5D and/or 3D games
* Expertise with Flash or similar platform
* Strong experience building dynamic web applications
* Experience working with Facebook and/or other social APIs a plus
* Ability to design and build a substantial Flash based game from prototype to production
* Portfolio of previous work

[JOB] RIA Development Engineer, San Francisco, CA to 150k

Primary Responsibilities:

The RIA Development Engineer will work with the engineering team to improve and develop tools and solutions related to RIA replay technology for a wide variety of technology stacks. This position will be working on leading edge solutions for RIA Replay including:
* Server Side Browser Rendering Engine
* Adaptations of open source browser engines like Firefox and Chrome
* Mobile Client Replay

To be successful in this role, you must possess in-depth expertise in JavaScript and ActionScript programming and be current on the technologies in the RIA space.

Requirements:

* 2+ years cross-browser AJAX (including CSS and HTML) application development experience
* 1+ year FLEX and ActionScript development experience

Should be familiar with:
* Adobe Livecycle Data Services
* Advanced JavaScript Techniques and DOM API expertise
* AJAX Toolkits such as JQuery, Dojo and Microsoft AJAX framework

Should have exposure to supporting tools and technologies including:
* Firebug debugging and profiling
* MS script debugger
* Flash debugger

* BS Degree in Computer Science or Engineering required
* Background in C/C++/Java programming a plus
